Theatre studies at the Academy of Arts Reykjavik and cultural science studies at the University of Hildesheim resemble each other in aspects of structure and standards regarding innovative strategies of performance – a twinning equal among equals. In Reykjavik and Hildesheim alike, students work and create between the fields of science and art, ever shifting their identity from theoretician to practitioner and back.
At their first meeting in Reykjavik in March 2012, the group got to know each other and will meet again in Hildesheim on April 13th. During four weeks, three performances will be created by and with: Carolin Gerlach, Juliane Hahn, Gesine Hohmann (all Hildesheim) and Ragnheiður Harpa Leifsdóttir, Ásrún Magnúsdóttir, Leifur Þór Þorvaldsson(Reykjavik).
